The Ultimate Carnivore’s Dream
What it is: This brand new meat-eaters paradise at La Mer, one of the newest beachfront destinations in Dubai, this fantastic venue’s name comes from an acronym of Smoked Meat Kitchen and has some of the best meats in Dubai. A huge range of food is on offer but it’s not very vegetarian friendly, so watch out.
Where to go: Find SMK at La Mer in Jumeirah 1.
When to go: SMK is open every day from 12:00 PM noon until 12:00 AM midnight.
What it is: Not necessarily a brand new offering but the new Nonna’s Lunch from Ravioli & Co is an authentic dining experience straight from Italy. Be fed delicious food from a menu designed by the masters of good food, Italian grandmothers.
Where to go: Ravioli & Co at Burj Daman in DIFC.
When to go: This is available every Friday from 12:00 PM noon until 4:00 PM.
How much it’ll cost: It’s 240 AED (£46.50) for soft drinks or 380 AED (£73.50) for house drinks.
What it is: You can never have too much Chinese food, and even when you do you just want more in 30 minutes, so check out this brand new Chinese menu with some classic Chinese dishes with a twist. Excellent food every day for lunch or dinner.
Where to go: Maiden Shanghai at FIVE Palm Jumeirah.
When to go: Any day from 12:00 PM noon until 3:30 PM for the lunch menu and then 7:00 PM until 11:30 PM for dinner (except weekends, when it’s open until 12:30 AM).
